A residential neighborhood that is home to many families, young professionals and college students. Although the area was originally a part of Watertown and was settled in 1630 until, it drew more people from Cambridge that it became known as “Little Cambridge.”

Brighton has valuable historic sites like the Cattle Market the was used to feed Washington’s army during the revolutionary war. However, Brighton has proceeded to develop its streets which now incorporate a variety of restaurants, and the Brighton Center that continues to attract new businesses to the area.
