As each patient is unique, we are sensitive to each individual’s needs. At every visit we use whatever time is necessary to go over all your concerns, and together we develop a treatment plan that meets all your goals.

We understand that you or a family member may have some anxiety about visiting the dentist, and since we want to make this experience as enjoyable as possible, we welcome any questions you may have prior to your first visit.

Your First Visit

Depending on your dental needs as a new patient , your first visit can be either a hygiene appointment, an emergency, or a consultation with our doctor.  As a new patient, a hygiene visit would include a professional dental cleaning, a comprehensive exam, and x-rays.

During your first visit, we will review your dental and medical history, and take X-rays of your teeth.  After the doctor or the hygienist cleans and polishes your teeth, the doctor will examine your gums and teeth, discuss your x-rays, and help you create your individual treatment plan looking at all the issues and available options.

As our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatments available, we use digital x-ray technology. Digital x-rays allow us to take clearer dental photos and exposes our patients to less radiation than traditional x-ray technology.

If you have had x-rays taken within the last six months, we ask that you either bring them along for your first visit or have your previous office email them to us at [email protected].

To make your first appointment as efficient as possible, we offer our patients the option to download ALL 4 necessary forms to complete prior to your appointment.
